Four Newsletters are published during each financial year, the first of which is the Annual Report of the Parish Council. Copies of these may be found on this website, in shops, pubs, Parish Hall, Uppertown Social Centre, on noticeboards at Alton, Ashover, Kelstedge, Littlemoor, Milltown and Uppertown.
If you have any difficulty obtaining a copy, please contact any Parish Councillor or the Parish Clerk.
Residents are welcome to attend and speak at Parish Council Meetings. Parish Council Meetings are held on the third Tuesday of every month (except August when no meeting is held) in The Sports Pavilion, Milken Lane, Ashover from 7.30 p.m.
Public Participation is invited for the first fifteen minutes of every meeting, when anyone from the parish may raise any issue with the Parish Council. A copy of the Agenda, together with notification of planning applications, Parish Clerk´s Report, Minutes of the previous meeting and other information may be found at the Parish Council website: www.ashover-pc.gov.uk or on any of the six notice boards situated around the parish. A summary of each meeting is published in the Parish Magazine and in The Derbyshire Times´ “Grassroots” section. Copies of Agenda and Minutes may be purchased from the Parish Clerk.
