I have been a Member of Ashover Parish Council for over 35 years and currently I am Chairman, represent the Parish Council on Affordable Rural Housing issues and Uppertown Social Centre. I ran the family farm, which is now run by my son, and I work for the Peak District National Park as a Lecturer in environmental studies and also as a Trainer for land based studies with "lantra". I'm Director and Chairman of "Ashover medical centre" and my interests involve Ashover show, playing in a local band and social events within the parish.
