I am semi-retired and have been a resident for over 15 years. I have been an Ashover Parish Councillor for more than 5 years and I am a member of the Finance Committee and Burial Board Working Group. I represent North East Derbyshire on the Derbyshire Association of Local Council's Executive Committee and represent the Parish Council to outside bodies including Ashover Footpaths Group and Cricket Club.

I also a District Councillor and represent the parish on North East Derbyshire District Council.

My outside interests include field sports and Rugby Union.
