The Parish Elections will be taking place on Thursday 4 May 2023 alongside the District Council Elections.

North East Derbyshire District Council (NEDDC) will be holding briefing sessions for prospective Candidates and their Election Agents on the following dates:

* Tuesday 7 March 2023

* Thursday 9 March 2023

* Wednesday 15 March 2023

All sessions will commence at 6pm at North East Derbyshire District Council, District Council Offices, 2013 Mill Lane. Wingerworth, Chesterfield S42 6NG These sessions will cover arrangements for the Election, including nominations, postal voting, polling day and the verification and count.

NEDDC will be holding a post nomination briefing after the close of nominations which will cover more detailed arrangements for polling day and the verification and count. This will be held on Tuesday 11 April 2023 at 6pm at the District Council Offices.

The Notice of Election will be published on Friday 24 March 2023 and nominations can be submitted to NEDDC Elections Office from Monday 27 March 2023 and will close at 4pm on Tuesday 4 April 2023. NEDDC will be operating an appointment system for the submission of nominations papers.
